Marsha: AKA Marshmallow AKA The Bermuda Couch |
Marsha, our beloved couch has supported us through all our ups and downs.
Marsha also makes a great catcher at praying-over parties! She was named
such because she was as smooshy as a marshmallow. Called the Bermuda Couch
because you sink in, and can't find your way out! She was a gift from
Kristy, our Chief Bellringer, because at the time, we had no good
furniture. |

A
real man- who will stand beneath your window... and yodel. When Emily went
to Austria, she was warned by her mother about meeting and marrying: "the
wedding's in January in Slovenia, hope you can make it." Sven, we love
you!

Mr. Bimble: |
Mr. Bimble, on the other hand, is not cute. Ever-present, but quite
invisible, he lives in Bellwether Radiator. He was named after watching
Muppet Treasure Island. The random noises heard in the common room are
often just him moving about. |

Balloon Man: |
Balloon Man was created from a black balloon, a couple pieces of tape,
Maria's hat and David Dayton's sweater. He was a dance partner during
Spring 2001 Formal. |

Box: |
Once while Steven and Susan were dating, praying in BITS common room, John
Popp wanted to pack Mamma's crown and rosary. He wandered through the
common room at intervals, calling aloud, "Box? You- BOX?! Box?," Pestering
them to help him find Box. |

Brother Max: |

Dr. BellFrog and Servants |
For Household Olympics one year, the small households of MD, Bellwether,
Spes Nostra, and Servants joined forces, and portrayed the State of
Insanity. |

Ignatius the Pagan Ferret |
Brendan brought Ignatius to Dr. Geogidas's Honors class to argue with the
Church Fathers (because a good Catholic can't argue with the Fathers!)
Ignatius didn't come to class often, but frequently entered discussions.
He even asked Dr. G to formal!
His cousin is Maximilian the Wolf, a puppet owned by Steven. Max didn't
come to class much either. The newest member of the family is Martin the
Heretical Puppy. (Annie, I'm sorry- my sisters found Renatta Ramona and
they raccoon-napped her!) |

Kristy joined MD before Bellwether was founded, but hung around us as our
Bell-ringer. She was one of the first official "Buddies". |
